Cassandra De La Rosa began her training in Cincinnati & Lexington Metropolitan studying Hip-Hop,Modern, Lyrical, Ballet and Pointe. She comes from Ellington Dance Company, Kentucky Ballet Theatre and Frankfort School of Ballet, all located in the Frankfort/Lexington area of Kentucky. Mrs. De La Rosa has been a soloist in productions such as Porgy and Bess, Carmen Jones, Kentucky Sate University Half-Time shows, and a variety of many more amazing productions. Other performances include those with Not Just Ballet, Selah, Nomel Inspirational Dance Theater, Theater Street Dance Academy, and Tapestry Performing Arts. She has even had the opportunity to dance for the Columbus Cyclone (Columbus’ IBL Basketball League) and for Vickie Winans. Studying under great teachers and choreographers such as Zoe Ellington Britton, Rafaela Cento Muñoz, Ariel Castro, Lee Edward, China White, she desires to continue their legacy and historical contributions on into the next generation. She has coached many dancers into placing high scores and award in dance competitions.
Her amazing talent, teaching and chorography has produced several grants to continue displaying her work all over and travel to New York to enhance her training and education in training, teaching and choreography. She is thankful to God and to those who have come before her to pave a way to for others including herself. She is deeply honored to be apart of training the next generation as others have done for her.
