Performing with Purpose
At For The Love of Dance, our performances go beyond the stage. We proudly participate in local events to raise awareness about important social issues, including mental health advocacy, empowering young girls, and supporting underserved communities around Columbus. Through dance, we aim to inspire change, uplift voices, and bring attention to causes that matter.
Shining a Light on Domestic Violence
At For The Love of Dance, we are deeply committed to raising awareness about domestic violence against women. Every few years, we dedicate an entire production to this important cause, using the power of dance to tell stories of survival and strength. Through our partnership with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, we provide resources and support to our audience members, many of whom are survivors themselves. Together, we aim to foster healing, hope, and change.
Empowering Future Artists Through Internship Opportunities
At For The Love of Dance, we believe in nurturing the next generation of artists. We offer hands-on experience to local high school students interested in pursuing arts programs in college through paid internships. This unique opportunity allows students to apply the skills they’ve gained in their elective classes to real-world productions alongside our talented team. Additionally, we provide personalized letters of recommendation to support their future endeavors. Join us in shaping the future of the arts!
