Crystal L. Hall-Boyce

Ms. Crystal L. Hall-Boyce, Owner and Artistic Director of Leap of Faith Dance Studio, began her journey into the world of dance at the early age of 4.

As a highly regarded artist and sought after choreographer, she has toured, performed with and created extensive works for several local theater companies and performing arts schools.

Ms. Crystal has studied under the tutelage of several respected dance instructors and is currently completing national dance certification and masters in dance direction programs at the University of Buffalo in New York.

Ms. Crystal’s passion as a choreographer, dancer and small business owner continues to bring innovative direction to Columbus’ local performing arts scene. Most recently choreographing Black Nativity 2025 for Nia Productions.

Ms. Crystal was awarded the Micro Entrepreneur of the Year Award, placed on the Historic Cultural Long Street Bridge, and awarded the Role Model of the Year Award by Role Model Magazine, Top Black Female Entrepreneur 2015 by MBE Ohio and received the Dream Award in 2022 from the King Arts Center.

Ms. Crystal most recently received the Change Maker Award from Role Model Magazine in 2025.
