Paris Miles

Owner-Artistic Director, Tap & Ballet Instruction

Paris Miles is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She studied under the strict instruction of Dance Theatre of Harlem Alum, China White for 25 years.   She attributes much of her love for the stage and the development of her talents  to Ms. White of whom molded and fine-tuned her innate gifts. There she performed in several shows from Annie, The Wiz, Lion King, Opening for Debbie Allen in the debut of the Original Chocolate Nutcracker, Amistad, and countless other shows.

After twenty-five years of study with TSDA, Paris lost a dance mentor, Darlene Hart. The passing of Darlene would spark a vision for a production highlighting domestic violence in dedication to Hart. Events following the show led Paris to continue on with a new vision and mission, bringing For The Love of Dance to life.

To date, Paris now has Directed and produced Dance Your Hart Out 1, Our Voice Our Story, Life is a Dance About Courage, Dance Don’t Speak It’s Timeless, Dance Your Hart Out 2 and Fifth Year Masterpiece. She acknowledges the collaboration of a phenomenal team and is grateful for all their hard work and dedication to the FTLOD mission!

Additionally, she taught briefly for ScholArts Prepratory. She has taken classes at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration, her MBA and is currently working on her Master’s of Science in Psychology with a focus on Sports and ABA. During the day, she manages her own salon suite. She has provided professional cosmetology services for 14 years.  Paris hopes to make FTLOD School a program where leadership and the Arts merge, for the purpose of developing the youth.
