Community Classes Instructor

Lyric Williams is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and instructor dedicated to helping dancers grow in both skill and confidence.

With a background rooted in hip hop and majorette, and a love for exploring a variety of movement styles, she creates an encouraging environment where every student feels welcome.

She is also a graduate of The Ohio State University (tOSU), where she deepened her understanding of performance, storytelling, and stage presence, which she brings into her teaching and choreography.

She values technique, while also emphasizing that dance is a way to build self-expression, discipline, and genuine joy.

Her classes are dynamic, supportive, and designed to challenge dancers while making them feel confident enough to take risks and have fun.

She is committed to meeting students where they are and celebrating their progress every step of the way.

Whether teaching beginners or experienced dancers, she strives to inspire each student to move with authenticity and purpose.

She is excited to share her passion with the For the Love of Dance family.
