Alex Phillips has a 15-year history of training and studying tap dance. Her love for tap started when she was 3 years old. She would watch tap classes and try to duplicate the steps. In the beginning of her teaching career, Alex served as an assistant teacher in tap classes for 4 years. This was pivotal in helping to refine her skillset as a now tap instructor. She loves working with kids and seeing the impact she has on them as a teacher. This is Alex’s second year teaching, and she is so excited to start working with the For the Love of Dance team!
